ISLAMABAD: Terrorism clause has been included in the case against model Ayyan Ali and her case has been transferred from Waris Khan police station to the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD).
The area magistrate has refused to hear her plea to record her statement. Tehlka TV had already broken the news that she would be tried under terrorism law. The model termed it a personal vendetta.
Tehkla TV had revealed that the noose is being tightened around her neck in the murder case of Customs Inspector Chaudhry Ijaz Ali. The Home Ministry has also approved the formation of a joint investigation team (JIT) to probe the charges.
She told Tehlka TV that she was not involved in the murder of the customs inspector because she was in jail when he was killed. She alleged she was being harassed and feared for her life. Now, she has been directed to personally appear in the counter-terrorism department.
