ABBOATABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan has said steps will have to be taken to safeguard the heritage, vowing to promote tourism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Addressing a programme held in connection with the promotion of tourism in Pakhtunkhwa, the PTI chief said very attractive locations are present in Pakhtunkhwa for tourism, adding that people will get employment through promotion of tourism in the province.
He said the Pakhtunkhwa government will also adopt measures to protect the ancient places while tent villages will be set up in the province for promotion of tourism. Imran further said that steps will be taken to protect the wildlife in the National Park.
He appreciated the plantation of trees by the locals and the measures being taken for their protection.
