The PTI on Friday claimed that another son of Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, was arrested in Lahore. The party said that Shershah was taken from his home after appearing at an anti-terrorism court. His arrest came just one day after his brother Shahrez was also detained.
PTI described the arrest as an “abduction” and accused authorities of breaking the law. Aleema Khan’s lawyer, Rana Mudassir Umar, said police picked up Shershah without any legal reason. He said Shershah had gone to court for a hearing linked to his brother’s case.
After Shahraiz, Aleema Khan’s other son, Shershah, has also been abducted.

A day earlier, PTI had said men in plainclothes abducted Shahrez from Aleema Khan’s house. Later, Lahore police confirmed Shahrez’s arrest in connection with the May 9 riots. On that day, PTI supporters vandalised military sites after Imran Khan’s arrest, sparking a nationwide crackdown.
On Friday, an anti-terrorism court gave police an eight-day physical remand for Shahrez. The court rejected a police request for a 30-day remand. PTI leader and lawyer Salman Akram Raja argued that Shahrez had not been named in the case until much later and called the arrest “harassment”.
Outside the court, Raja claimed Shahrez was in Chitral on May 9 and said the charges were fake. He accused the government of targeting Imran Khan’s family after his recent bail wins. “There is no law in this country,” he said, calling the arrests a political conspiracy.
